Using the latest in digital technology we in UMS have developed a number of kits for building Motor Cruisers and Sailing Yachts in both Steel and Aluminium.
This technology includes state of the art CAD systems and the most up to date precision plasma cutters for cutting plate material.
To achieve the high quality of our kits we work in partnership with a number of Naval Architects and well-known boat designers. This allows us to offer a number of different models and styles to meet a wide variety of differing needs. Offering a number of different models enables you to find a suitable model of your choice.
However, if you cannot find the boat kit that exactly meets your requirements then we can also provide a custom-design service to help to develop your particular dream into a complete kit, and beyond if needs be.

Once you have made your choice of model then we offer a range of options to meet your exact building requirements, such as:
1. Flat-packed kits including construction drawings and instructions delivered to your building site.
2. Complete Hulls and Decks, which will be built for you by one of our partner yachtbuilders, again delivered to your building site.
3. Technically ready.
Our standard practice is to support you throughout the building of your kit.
It is our aim to continuously seek ways of improving methods of building kits and how to provide the best, most cost effective, products for both home and professional builders alike.
Helping you to achieve your own custom built boat does not end with us delivering a kit. Once the kit has been assembled we can also supply a range of additional kits for engines and transmissions, hydraulics, windows, masts and rigging, in fact everything you might need to fully fit out your boat. These can either be supplied as standard kits or custom kits to meet your own specific requirements.
